About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Farmington, NY, Park Place Restaurant is a beloved local diner that masterfully delivers classic American breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites with a warm, inviting touch. Whether you’re stopping by for a hearty breakfast to start your day or craving a comforting lunch or dinner, this restaurant excels in blending homestyle cooking with a neighborhood-friendly atmosphere, making every visit feel like coming home.

The menu is a treasure trove of timeless dishes crafted with care and quality ingredients. Breakfast lovers praise their Eggs Benedict, a standout dish featuring a silky hollandaise sauce that, according to local regular Emily Karsten, is “the best I’ve ever had, anywhere.” For those looking to switch it up, the spinach option for the Benedict packs a fresh, vibrant punch, proving that Park Place knows how to balance tradition and innovation. Other breakfast highlights include the savory Bacon and Cheese Omelette, comforting Biscuits and Gravy, and sweet treats like the Waffle À La Mode and Belgian Waffle topped with fresh fruit or whipped cream.

Lunch and dinner menus are equally impressive, with hearty offerings such as their signature Patty Melt, the generously portioned Turkey Dinner, and the ever-popular Reuben Sandwich Platter. Seafood enthusiasts will find delight in the Our Famous Fish Fry and the crispy Breaded Fantail Shrimp, satisfying cravings for perfectly seasoned, flaky, golden-fried bites. This balance between breakfast staples and savory entrees gives customers plenty of reasons to return across all mealtimes.

Dining at Park Place is as much about the experience as the food. As Jeremy Rude’s review highlights, even during busy weekend mornings, the staff remain impressively efficient – swiftly clearing tables, seating guests, and delivering hot, fresh meals with a friendly smile. The atmosphere is relaxed yet bustling with the comfortable hum of regulars catching up and families enjoying a shared meal. This creates a welcoming environment that feels authentic and unpretentious.

Portion sizes here don’t just satisfy hunger – they embrace the joy of comfort food done right. Mariah notes that the servings are substantial and well worth the value, arriving fresh and piping hot. The attentive service consistently keeps coffee cups full and spirits high, a detail Bill Augustine appreciated during his Christmas Eve visit with his father, where the combination of delicious food and attentive hospitality made their meal memorable.

Whether you’re a resident looking for a reliable neighborhood spot or a traveler seeking genuine, hearty American cuisine in Farmington, Park Place Restaurant offers a priceless blend of great taste, smile-filled service, and a welcoming vibe. As Joe Dattilo puts it, it’s a place where you’re likely to run into an old friend and enjoy a great meal—a true community cornerstone.

Eggs Benedict done right! They have an option with spinach instead of ham, and it's amazing! Their hollandaise sauce is the best I've ever had, anywhere. Can't wait to go back, it's a favorite after this last visit!

Went for breakfast with a large group this morning. The place was busy but all of the staff were very quick. Cleaning tables, seating new ppl in 5 min or less. Our drinks came very fast. Our orders were taken and I was surprised how fast our food came out being as busy as it was. The food was very good. It was my 1st time here but I do not feel it's my last.

The food was delicious. We ordered breakfast and it came out very quick and hot. There are many options for breakfast and the portion sizes are worth the money. The staff are very nice, attentive and pleasant. The parking lot is a little odd with diagonal parking, but it is easy to figure out. I would definitely come here again

My Dad and I went for breakfast on Christmas Eve. I had the Frittata and he had scrambled eggs and ham. The food was amazing. The service was second to none. Our coffee cups were never empty. Neither of us had ever been there before, but rest assured we will be back many times over!! Thank you and Merry Christmas, Bill and Bob Augustine

As staple of Victor/Farmington residents I always stop here when I’m in town. The breakfast is always delicious, the coffee hot and filled to the brim. They have a great lunch and dinner item menu as well. Just a great neighborhood spot where you’re likely to run into an old friend and have a great meal. Definitely check it out.

I tried this place for the first time. I felt so bad I didn't know they closed at 1:30 and i got there 10 minutes before that. I usually won't go to a place if they are closing. Everyone was so nice about it. I got mozzarella sticks and the special which was a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go again and this time not right before closing.
